Back to Wed. Night Bible Study: Colossians 3:23-25, 4:1

Colossians: What ever you do, work heartily, as for The Lord and not for men, knowing tht from The Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving The Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality. Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. Col. 3:23-25, 4:1 ESV

I “What ever you do” the redemption of
A. “work Heartily”- Attitude and effort. = Christian living
B. “As for The Lord and not for Men” – Work is worship
Romans 12:1
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of god, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship
Colossians 3:17
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the nme of The Lord jesus, giving thanks to god the Father through Him
C “knowing that from The Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward”- the
“retirement” plan is out of this world
D. You are serving The Lord Christ “attitude adjustment
II. Remember, God is a God of Justice
A. “For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done”- Justice will be done –
eventually.
B. “there is no Partiality” – Good work will be rewarded and bad leader will be punished.
III Remember – Masters have a ____
A. “Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly” – Applying the golden rule (Luke 6:31)
Luke 6:31ESV
And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.
B. Knowing that you also have a master in heaven” – Don’t Forget!

Anything you do, do as if your doing it for Christ. Because, you are.
